Akitas are famously reserved, famously stubborn, and famously devoted to exactly one household. That composure is what makes them so good to paint: an Akita in a bucket hat does not look silly, it looks like an Akita who has decided to wear a bucket hat and would rather not discuss it.
The Akita prints run warm, with a lot of cream and rust, so they sit well against dark paint or wood. Good in an office or a hallway rather than a nursery.
Aimed squarely at people who already live with the breed. Akita owners tend to be particular, and this is a print for them rather than a general dog gift.
